DocRecon is a configurable, rule-based reconciliation engine for Salesforce, built natively on Workato. Composite scoring and explicit field-matching rules trace every matched, variance, mismatch, or exception outcome back to a named rule and exception code — more transparent and auditable than a purely AI-judged match. Submissions are accepted through three channels — Gmail, a Slack bot, and an API endpoint — with each sender authorized against a configurable registry before any processing begins.
A central orchestration workflow sequences the pipeline: document-type-specific extraction (dedicated workflows for Invoice, Purchase Order, and Receipt), configurable checksum validation and composite trust scoring, a Salesforce lookup against the matching record, and the configurable multi-rule reconciliation engine described above.
Every run is logged to a dedicated audit trail, and every outcome is communicated back to the submitter on both Gmail and Slack. A dedicated error-handling workflow is invoked whenever any pipeline stage fails, so failures are logged and communicated rather than silently dropped.
DocRecon is built so that new checksum rules, scoring weights, and reconciliation comparisons are added as configuration rather than code changes, with doc-type-specific extraction and Salesforce-object logic isolated to clearly defined, independently maintainable components.
