Apex Scout searches Lusha for matching contacts, runs 7 parallel validation checks covering email accuracy, domain health, catch-all detection, GDPR geography, and suppression list matching. Each contact then receives a unified risk score — Safe, Caution, or Block — all AI-reasoned.

For every Safe contact, Apex Scout uses AI to draft a short, personalized email based on the contact's title, industry, and the user's campaign goal. This draft is presented in Slack alongside the contact details and risk score. The human reviews the draft, makes any edits, and clicks Send. Workato then fires the email through the user's connected Outlook account — so the email arrives from a real, trusted sender address.

After sending, Apex Scout asks whether the contact should be synced to HubSpot. If the user approves, a contact record containing name, email, company, and risk score is pushed to HubSpot. If not, no data enters HubSpot. This design ensures Apex Scout is fully complementary to HubSpot — it does not replace, duplicate, or interfere with existing HubSpot sequences, workflows, or campaign structures.
